1. Idea Pins
Create an Idea Pin EVERY DAY and it will launch your engagement. Every day I get between 1,000 -2,000 impressions mainly due to my Idea Pins, they are your bread and butter.
2. Create 8-10 Pins A Day
I’ve been creating 8+ pins every day, although I would recommend prioritizing Idea Pins over regular pins if you don’t have time to do both. Some people only recommend creating 2 pins a day so this step may not be necessary but the more pins you have, the more likely someone is to see your pin.
3. Pinterest SEO
Fill out anything and everything you can use keywords. My name, page description, and all of my boards have a description that includes keywords. Keywords are important in order for Pinterest to push your pins to the correct audience.
4. Viral Pin Tactic
I don’t have any viral pins (yet) but I started following the method from “Marketing Solved” on Youtube which, takes you through great tips on how to go viral and rank #1 on Pinterest. I am now creating an assortment of pins, some aesthetically pleasing and others that really stand out from the crowd.
5. Create More Boards
The more boards you have, the more engagement you will get. If you can offer value on your page then people will eventually begin to follow your account. I now have 11 boards with 50-100 pins in each; make sure the title of your board includes top-ranking keywords.
Tip** After you’ve created a board, go back to your page and click on your board in order to fill out your description.
Here’s to hoping we all make it to 20,000 soon, stay tuned for more tips!
